Your Most Important Relationship

Who is most important in your life right now?  If it is not God, I suggest you reconsider your choice.  The truth is: Your most important relationship is with God.

Consider that God determines your eternal destiny. God instructs you like a Loving Father though His Word what you must do to spend eternity with Him.  Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God warns us:

I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him Who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him. (Luke 12:4-5)

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One Who can destroy both soul and body in hell. (Matthew 10:28)

Consider that the most terrible thing that can happen to a person is to be apart from God for all eternity.

Eternity is a very very very long time!  Consider this truth very seriously.  In fact, eternity is completely outside of time, a truth that is difficult for the human mind to grasp.

No sin can enter the kingdom of heaven!

Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Revelation 22:14-15)

If God is Loving kindness, Mercy, Peace and Light, then to be apart from God means a person will be apart from Loving kindness, Mercy, Peace and Light eternally.

This means eternal physical darkness as well as spiritual darkness.
This means eternal gnashing of teeth in agony of spirit and soul.
This means eternal continual torment of mind, body and spirit!

If you love the darkness of filthy language, drunkenness, orgies and sexual immorality you will go into the darkness of hell and experience the torments of the exact sins you indulged in on earth. If you loved filthy language, your tongue will be burned with continual tormenting fire. If you loved orgies and sexual immorality, your private parts will be burned with continual tormenting fire.
Is this how you want to spend your eternity?
If not, then you need to make changes in your life.

The Bible states clearly:
For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live. (Romans 8:13)

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction;
whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:7-8)

Surely Thou will reward a person according to what he has done. (Psalm 62:12)

Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.  (Revelation 22:12-13)

Here are the changes you need to make in your life:
1. Accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. If you have not done this yet and you would like to, pray the Prayer of Repentance.
2. Repent of all your wicked and sinful ways by rebuking and renouncing them in the Name of Jesus Christ.
3. Read God’s word in the Bible daily to understand the character of God and His will for your life personally.
4. Pray to God every day on your knees with humility and true reverence.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our “God is a consuming fire.” (Hebrews 12:28-29)

5. Find a community of believers in Jesus where you can get water baptized and share your new found life in Jesus with others.

Here are further instructions from the Bible:

And do this, understanding the present time: The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of lightLet us behave decently, as in the daytime, not in orgies and drunkenness, not in sexual immorality and debauchery, not in dissension and jealousy. Rather, clothe yourselves with the Lord Jesus Christ, and do not think about how to gratify the desires of the sinful nature. (Romans 13:11-14)

Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves his fellow man has fulfilled the law. (Romans 13:8)

Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law. (Romans 13:10)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as
living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God–this is your spiritual act of worship.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–His good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:1-2)

Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you,
whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price.
Therefore honor God with your bodies. (Corinthians 6:19-20)

Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.

Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse.
Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn.
Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to
associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone.
If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.
Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written:
“It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (Romans 12:9-21)

God is merciful and good and will accept anyone who comes to Him in repentance, but be warned that if you refuse to listen, God says this to you:

“If you resist and rebel, you will be devoured by the sword.” For the mouth of the Lord has spoken. (Isaiah 1:20)

And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against Me;
the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched,
and they will be loathsome to all mankind. (Isaiah 66:24)

Seek the Lord while He may be found;
call on Him while He is near.
Let the wicked forsake their ways
and the unrighteous their thoughts.
Let them turn to the Lord, and He will have mercy on them,
and to our God, for He will freely pardon. (Isaiah 55:6)

The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray.
Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others,
as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God.
If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides,
so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. (1 Peter 4:7-11)

The end of all things is very near, bothers and sisters!

REPENT while you still have time!
