Most people know about the concept of heaven and hell, but may not know that heaven and hell are authentic spiritual realities that every human soul will face when they leave this earth.  God informs us of this clearly.  For this reason, it is so critical that every person pay careful attention to God’s words and God’s warnings in the Bible and take them to heart.

In the spiritual world, distance is measured by similarity. The closer you are to a spiritual reality, the more similar you are to it.  In other words, if you delight in good, seek truth and wisdom and strive to be holy, the closer are to the heavenly reality where virtue, goodness, righteousness and peace exist. On the other hand, if you delight in sin or wickedness and practice it, the closer you are to the reality of hell, where terrible pain, anguish, torment and evil exist.

Many people do not want to face the simple fact that one day they will face the very spiritual reality they chose on earth!  This is a very sobering fact indeed!  The very choices you make on earth today and every day of your life will determine your reality in the next life and that reality will be magnified a thousand fold!

There is no middle ground: the spiritual reality after this life will be either heaven or hell!

Most people also have this false notion that God is so merciful that He will allow them into the Kingdom of Heaven even if they have this or that sin in their life; however, what these people need to understand is this: NO sin can enter the kingdom of heaven: NONE!

Read the following Bible passages carefully:

Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. (Galatians 6:6-8)

Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are controlled by the sinful nature cannot please God. (Romans 8:5-8)

Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)

Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, Who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies. (1 Corinthians 6:18-20)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. (Romans 12:1)

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will be in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:6-8)

Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.” (Revelation 22:14-15)

There are people who have actually died and experienced hell and came back to life to tell others what it was like.  Bryan Melvin is one such person, a former atheist who died and experienced hell and came back to life.  He describes his experience in this video.  Bill Wiese was another such person and he describes his vision of hell here. The accounts these people describe of hell are terrible indeed: a place of fire, darkness, confinement, loud shrieks and screams, grotesque and frightening entities, smells of burning sulfur, horrible pain and torment of the souls there without any hope of ever being released!

Yes! That is the reality of hell and a person chooses that reality every time they sin and delight in evil!  If a person chooses to do evil, what will they say when God judges them and casts them to hell?  How will they justify themselves before a Just and Righteous God?  They will have no way to excuse themselves from a reality they chose!

My friend, I urge you to take these words to heart and repent TODAY!

Do not wait!

The end of all things is very near but your end may be tomorrow!

You do not know when God will decide to take you from this life.

God controls your tomorrow, not you!

Repent while you have breath!

Accept God’s Son Jesus Christ as your Savior, ask God to forgive you all your sins and offer your heart, mind and body as a living sacrifice to a Just and Holy God!

The only way to enter the kingdom of heaven is to have faith in Jesus Christ, to be washed by His Blood and to get rid of all sin in your life! Yes, ALL sin, not some sin!

If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out.  (Mark 9:43)

And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.  (Matthew 18:9)

The LORD Almighty is the One you are to regard as holy.  He is the One you are to fear.  He is the One you are to dread!  (Isaiah 8:13)

“I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more. But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him!  (Luke 12:5)

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.  (Matthew 10:28)

Make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with Him. (2 Peter 3:14)

Make every effort to live in peace with everyone and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord.  (Hebrews 12:14)

I am the Lord your God; consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am holy.  (Leviticus 11:44)

Jesus told them, “You are going to have the light just a little while longer. Walk while you have the light, before darkness overtakes you. Whoever walks in the dark does not know where they are going. Believe in the light while you have the light, so that you may become children of light.” (John 12:35-36)

God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)

Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done through God. (John 3:18-21)

Therefore, my friends, accept Jesus Christ as your Savior and make every effort to align your life with what is good and holy before it is too late!

Shalom.
