We all need to take this fact to heart: We will be judged.
Each of us will give an account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12)
God will judge us by every word spoken through His Son Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ said: Whatever I say is just what the Father has told Me to say. (John 12:50)
Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the Name of God’s one and only Son. (John 3:18)
There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. (John 12:48)
I, the Lord, speak the truth. I declare what is right. (Isaiah 45:19)
I, even I, am the Lord and apart from Me there is no savior. (Isaiah 43:11)
I am the Lord and there is no other. I am the First and I am the Last. Apart from Me there is no God. (Isaiah 44:6)
No one can deliver out of My hand. When I act, who can reverse it? (Isaiah 43:13)
In this lifetime, God has given you a great power: the freedom to choose your actions.
With this freedom comes a solemn responsibility that will affect your eternity.
After you leave this earth, you no longer have ANY choice: you are bound by the decision you made in your earthly life!
If you chose to trust and obey God, you will have peace and joy forever. If you chose to disobey God, you will have agony and pain forever.
Grasp this truth while you have breath!
Do not deceive yourself!
God means what He says!
I tell you, my friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body and after that can do no more; but I will show you whom you should fear: fear Him who, after the killing of the body, has power to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear Him! (Luke 12:4-5)
This is what the Lord Almighty says:
Those enemies of Mine who did not want Me to be king over them, bring them here and kill them in front of Me. (Luke 19:27)
I am the Lord, and there is no other. I form the light and create darkness. I bring prosperity and create disaster. I, the Lord, do all these things. (Isaiah 45:6-7)
Why does God create disaster? You may ask.
Because of people’s wickedness, rebellion and disobedience.
The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth. (Psalm 34:16)
There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil, but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good. (Romans 2:9-10)
If you live according to the sinful nature you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body you will live. (Romans 8:13)
Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the Kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6:9-10)
The Lord examines the righteous, but the wicked and those who love violence His soul hates. (Psalm 11:5)
God controls EVERYTHING! The entire universe is at His command!
God sees everything and knows everything!
Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of Him to whom we must give account. (Hebrews 4:13)
My eyes are on all their ways; they are not hidden from Me, nor is their sin concealed from My eyes. I will repay them double for their wickedness and their sin. (Jeremiah 16:17-18)
I the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve. (Jeremiah 17:10)
I will repay them according to their deeds and the work of their hands. (Jeremiah 25:14)
See, the storm of the Lord will burst out in wrath, a whirlwind swirling down on the heads of the wicked. The anger of the Lord will not turn back until He accomplishes the purposes of His heart. (Jeremiah 23:19-20)
Their land will become desolate because of the sword of the oppressor and because of the Lord’s fierce anger. (Jeremiah 25:38)
My friend this is what is about to happen to this nation and every nation that does not obey God!
If any nation does not listen, I will completely uproot and destroy it, declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 12:17)
Tell the righteous it will be well with them, for they will enjoy the fruit of their deeds. Woe to the wicked! Disaster is upon them! They will be paid back for what their hands have done. (Isaiah 3:10-11)
Tell them everything I command you; do not omit a word. Perhaps they will listen and each will turn from his evil way. Then I will relent and not bring on them the disaster I was planning because of the evil they have done. (Jeremiah 26:2-3)
Do you realize you have the power in your hands right now to avert disaster?
Yes! By repenting and turning to God!
Repent! Repent! Repent!
Turn away from your wickedness, your sin and your rebellion against God!
Turn to God, accept His Son Jesus Christ as your Savior NOW and begin living as a child of God!
Hear and pay attention! Do not be arrogant, for the Lord has spoken. Give glory to the Lord your God before He brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. (Jeremiah 13:15)
I am the Lord your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go. (Isaiah 48:17)
Even now, declares the Lord, return to Me with all your heart, with fasting and weeping and mourning. Rend your hearts and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love and He relents from sending calamity. Who knows? He may turn and have pity and leave behind a blessing – grain offerings and drink offerings for the Lord your God. (Joel 2:12-14)
Repent! Turn away from all your offenses; then sin will not be your downfall. Rid yourselves of all the offenses you have committed and get a new heart and a new spirit. (Ezekiel 18:30-31)
For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, declares the Lord.
Repent and live! (Ezekiel 18:32)
