What Kind Of Seeds Are You Sowing?

posted in: Main | 0

Are you troubled by many things right now? Are you worried, anxious and fearful?

If you are, I would like you to consider this:
What kind of seeds are you sowing in your life right now?

You may ask: What do you mean?

I will answer with a Bible verse:
From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. (Proverbs 18:20)

You may think, what does this have to do with sowing seeds?

Everything!

You see, every word that comes out of your mouth is a seed. That seed produces fruit and that fruit fills your life, either for good or for evil.

If you speak words that are truthful, righteous and helpful, these seeds will produce fruit that will sustain you and give you peace and joy and life. On the other hand, if you speak evil, wicked and perverse words, these seeds will produce bitter fruit that will ultimately destroy you, both spiritually and physically.

So what I ask you: What kind of seed are you sowing?
If you have many troubles, health issues, worries, anxiety and fear, could it be that you are sowing bad seed that is harming you?  If so, you can change this!

If you don’t like the fruit, then change the seed!

It truly is that simple!

But there is one very important consideration: You cannot change without help.

You need the grace of God!
Only God can help you change for the better.

So right now, say this prayer:

Lord God Almighty, I need your help to change the seeds I am sowing in my life.
I let go of trying to do it my way and I accept and embrace Jesus Christ, Your Son as my Savior. From now on, I trust Jesus to lead me and to guide me.  I believe that Jesus died on the Cross for me, that He rose on the third day victorious and sits at the right hand of the Father.  I am sorry for all my sins and I repent of them. Please help me to change so that I can sow GOOD seeds in my life that will produce fruits of eternal life: loving-kindness, peace, health and joy.  Amen.

From now on, resolve to watch carefully what you speak so as to sow GOOD SEEDS every day. This way, you will enjoy the sweet fruits of loving-kindness, health and peace.

Shalom.
