Is Jesus Christ the Son of God?

We know from the Bible that the standard by which we know the truth is by its POWER.
As it is written in 1 Corinthians 4:20, ‘For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power.

In all of recorded human history, Jesus Christ is the only Person Who raised anyone from the dead.

Jesus Christ demonstrated to the world that He is the Son of the Almighty God by the miracles He performed, among which was to raise people from the dead. If you would like to know more about the many miracles Jesus performed, I suggest you read the following article: Miracles of Jesus.

Consider the following Bible passage:

In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent. For He has set a day when He will judge the world with justice by the Man [Jesus Christ] He has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising Him from the dead.        (Acts 17:30-31)

If you do not believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, I challenge you with this question: By what authority can you claim that you know better than God and so disagree with His word?  Jesus Christ is the ONLY Person Who demonstrated the power to raise a person from the dead.  Until you can demonstrate the same power, you cannot rightfully claim you are more knowledgeable than God and disagree with His word.  As such, God’s truth is established by the demonstrated power of His Son Jesus Christ, Who not only raised others from the dead but was also raised from the dead Himself by His Father in Heaven.

Consider the following Bible passages:

“Why then do you accuse Me of blasphemy because I said, ‘I am God’s Son’? Do not believe me unless I do the works of My Father. But if I do them, even though you do not believe Me, believe the works, that you may know and understand that the Father is in Me, and I in the Father.” (John 10:36-38)

——

The works I do in My Father’s Name testify about Me. (John 10:25)

——

Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also(1 John 2:22-23)

——

This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. (1 John 4:2-3)

——

This is the One who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth. For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement. We accept human testimony, but God’s testimony is greater because it is the testimony of God, which He has given about His Son. Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made Him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. And this is the testimony:

God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

(1 John 5:6-12)

——

When Jesus spoke again to the people, He said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of Life.” (John 8:12)

——

Jesus Christ will judge everyone as we read in the following Bible passages:

Jesus says…
There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not receive My words:

The word that I have spoken will judge him on the last day. (John 12:48)

and

the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. For I did not speak on My own, but the Father who sent Me commanded Me to say all that I have spoken. I know that His command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told Me to say.”            (John 12:44-50)

and

I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges Me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. But whoever disowns Me before others will be disowned before the angels of God. (Luke 12:8-9)

——

For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. (Romans 14:10)

——

For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may be recompensed for his deeds in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

——

This will come to pass on that day when God will judge men’s secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by my gospel. (Romans 2:16)

——

“I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him Who sent Me. (John 5:30)

——

Jesus answered. “For this reason I was born and have come into the world, to testify to the TRUTH.

Everyone who belongs to the TRUTH listens to My voice. (John 18:37)

——

Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God.

The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” (John 8:47)

——

Jesus looked directly at them and asked, “Then what is the meaning of that which is written:
“‘The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone’?
Everyone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces;

anyone on whom it falls will be crushed.

(Luke 20:17-18)

——

He who has ears to hear, let him hear!
Now that you know the TRUTH, let the TRUTH set you FREE!
