Do You Respect God?

Do you respect God or do you do what He hates?
First, do you know what God hates?
Let’s read His word in the Bible to find out:

“These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other, and render true and sound judgment in your courts; do not plot evil against each other, and do not love to swear falsely. I hate all this.” declares the Lord. (Zechariah 8:16-17)

The Lord detests a perverse man but takes the upright into His confidence.
The Lord’s curse is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the righteous.
He mocks proud mockers but shows favor to the humble and oppressed.
The wise inherit honor, but fools get only shame. (Proverbs 3:32-35)

To fear the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil behavior and perverse speech. (Proverbs 8:13)

One whose tongue is perverse falls into trouble. (Proverbs 17:20)

A perverse tongue will be cut out. (Proverbs 10:31)

“What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.” (Matthew 15:11)

The one whose walk is blameless is kept safe, but the one whose ways are perverse will fall into the pit. (Proverbs 28:18)

The Lord detests men of perverse heart, but He delights in those whose ways are blameless. (Proverbs 11:20)

Administer justice every morning; rescue from the hand of the oppressor the one who has been robbed, or My wrath will break out and burn like fire because of the evil you have done—burn with no one to quench it. (Jeremiah 21:12)

“This is what the Lord Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not think evil of each other.’” (Zechariah 7:8-10)

“So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners of justice, but do not fear Me,” says the Lord Almighty. (Malachi 3:5)

“Surely the day is coming; it will burn like a furnace. All the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble, and the day that is coming will set them on fire,” says the Lord Almighty. “Not a root or a branch will be left to them. But for you who revere My Name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. Then you will trample on the wicked; they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things,” says the Lord Almighty. (Malachi 4:1-3)

‘When I called, they did not listen; so when they called, I would not listen,’ says the Lord Almighty. (Zechariah 7:13)

“I the Lord do not change. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty. (Malachi 3:6,7)

“I said to the city, ‘Surely you will fear Me and accept correction!’ Then her dwelling would not be destroyed, nor all my punishments come upon her.  But they were still eager to act corruptly in all they did.  Therefore wait for Me,” declares the Lord, “for the day I will stand up to testify.  I have decided to assemble the nations, to gather the kingdoms and to pour out My wrath on them—all My fierce anger. The whole world will be consumed by the fire of My jealous anger.” (Zephaniah 3:7-8)

“In that day,” declares the Lord, “I will take vengeance in anger and wrath on the nations that have not obeyed Me.” (Micah 5:10,15)

I will punish you as your deeds deserve, declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 21:14)

Who can hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?” declares the Lord. “Do not I fill heaven and earth?” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 23:24)

The Lord is a jealous and avenging God; the Lord takes vengeance and is filled with wrath.  The Lord takes vengeance on His foes and vents His wrath against His enemies. (Nahum 1:2-3)

The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to blot out their name from the earth. (Psalm 34:16)

Whatever they plot against the Lord He will bring to an end. (Nahum 1:9)

Although they have allies and are numerous, they will be destroyed and pass away. (Nahum 1:12)

He will pursue His foes into darkness. (Nahum 1:8)

He punishes them for their wickedness where everyone can see them, because they turned from following Him and had no regard for any of His ways. (Job 34:26-27)

He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To him who is thirsty I will give to drink without cost from the spring of the water of life.  He who overcomes will inherit all this, and I will be his God and he will be My son. But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—their place will in the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.” (Revelation 21:6-8)

My friends, if you call yourselves servants of the Most High God yet do what He hates, He will surely prove you to be a liar!

Read God’s word and align your words and actions according to His commandments or you will be engulfed by the fire of His wrath for eternity!

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.
For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14)

So, my friends:

Is it not from the mouth of the Most High that both calamities and good things come?
Why should the living complain when punished for their sins? Let us examine our ways and
test them, and let us return to the Lord. (Lamentations 3:38-40)

Now is the time to examine your life!
Now is the time to repent!
Tomorrow may be too late!

Shalom.
