Certainty

If thieves and robbers knew with certainty that they would be killed for their theft and their robbery and that they would not be able to escape, would they desist from stealing?

If the liars knew that their tongues would be burned with unending fire in the world to come, would they stop lying?

If the murderers knew with certainty that the innocent blood they shed would torment them for eternity, would they stop killing?

If those who engage in pornography or any kind of sexual immorality knew with certainty that they would be dragged to a place of darkness and torment forever, would they stop engaging in that filth?

If the sinner knew with certainty the greatness of his punishment, would he sin?

The reason people sin in such ways is because they trust in escaping forever, that is why they do what their evil hearts desire.

Enter God’s justice and judgment.

No one can escape God’s judgments!

“See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of His holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.” (Jude 14-15)

There is no god besides Me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of My hand(Deuteronomy 32:39)

Where will you hide from God?

Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him? Declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 23:24)

Not one will get away, none will escape.
Though they dig down to the depths below, from there My hand will take them.
Though they climb up to the heavens above, from there I will bring them down.
Though they hide themselves on the top of Carmel, there I will hunt them down and seize them.
Though they hide from My eyes at the bottom of the sea, there I will command the serpent to bite them.
Though they are driven into exile by their enemies, there I will command the sword to slay them.
I will keep my eye on them for harm and not for good. (Amos 9:1-4)

His eyes are on the ways of men; He sees their every step. There is no dark place, no deep shadow where evildoers can hide. (Job 34:21-22)

Know this with certainty: God is judging you right now: your every thought, word and deed!

I, the LORD, search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve. (Jeremiah 17:10)

You may ask: By what standard is God judging me?
Answer: By the standard of His Word?

There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. (John 12:48)

You may ask: Where is His word?
Answer: In the Bible.

Do you know God’s word?
Do you know what God expects of you?
If you don’t, go right now and get a Bible and start reading it.
In the Bible you will find out God’s judgments and no one escapes them!

I repeat: NO ONE, in heaven or on earth, can escape God’s judgments!

If a person says he trusts in God but does not DO what God commands, what a sinner and a fool he is!

For what is the hope of the evildoer if he does evil?

God will cut off his spirit. Will God hear his cry?

Wake up, O people of the earth!

Stop your foolish imaginations and understand that God is Holy and Just!

Read that again: God is HOLY!
The hosts of the heavens worship Him!
Who are you to think you know better than Him?

Think of the infinite heavens.
You are less than a gain of dust!

God hates sin!

The face of the LORD is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth! (Psalm 34:16)

God does NOT permit sin to enter the Kingdom of Heaven!
If you sin, you will NOT enter the Kingdom of Heaven!
Is that clear to you?

Do you think you are righteous? Listen to this:

“Dominion and awe belong to God.
He establishes order in the heights of heaven.
Can His forces be numbered? On whom does His light not rise?
How then can a man be righteous before God?
How can one born of woman be pure?
If even the moon is not bright and the stars are not pure in His eyes, how much less a man, who is but a maggot—a son of man, who is only a worm!” (Job 25:2-6)

Reform your mind!
Reform your thinking!

Know with certainty that God is watching and judging you right now as you are reading this.
He is watching every movement of your heart.

Repent, my friend!  Repent!

The LORD Almighty is the One you are to regard as holy.
He is the One you are to fear.
He is the One you are to dread. (Isaiah 8:13)

Amen.
