Are you prepared to meet God?
Whether you know it or not, whether you want it or not and whether you like or not, one day you will meet with God face to face.
All people will be judged for their deeds, as it is written:
And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. (Revelation 20:12)
And
“‘I the Lord have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I will not have pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign Lord.’” (Ezekiel 24:14)
God will be sitting on His Heavenly Throne in all His glorious majesty and you will stand before Him to be judged. This your personal, individual Judgment Day. Suddenly, all the events of your life will appear before you as in a movie on a big screen and you will watch your own life on earth played back to you.
You will be judged for every thought, every word and every deed.
A pair of scales will appear to you.
On one side of the scales will be your good deeds: when you were merciful to others, when you practiced self-discipline, when you spoke the truth, when you prayed earnestly, when you helped others and so on.
On the other side of the scales will be your evil deeds: your lies, your perverse speech, your thefts, your gossip, your evil against others, your sexual immorality, your unforgiveness, your cruelty to people or animals, and so on.
If the scales tip on the side of your good deeds, God may forgive your evil deeds, you may find mercy in God’s sight and spend eternity in His glorious presence; however, if the scales tip on the side of your evil deeds your place will be in the lake of fire in continual torment, away from the presence of God forever.
This is indeed a very sobering truth.
You would be wise to pay very careful attention to how you live your life starting this very moment because you do not know when God decides to take you from this earthly life.
God holds everything in place by His Almighty power, including your very life. You cannot assume you will have more time tomorrow because tomorrow is NOT in your hands, but in God’s hands.
NOW is the time to repent!
NOW is the time to turn away from your wickedness and evil ways!
Tomorrow may be too late!
Repent NOW while you have the time, while you have breath in your nostrils!
Keep in mind that the ONLY way to have our sins acquitted is to CONFESS them sincerely and TURN AWAY from them! Any sin you confess and sincerely repent of will be erased from your record by the Holy Spirit.
Pray to God earnestly for mercy NOW while you have the time. God is merciful and He hears prayer. God loves you with an everlasting love but also keep in mind that God hates sin and He cannot permit sin to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
God sees your inmost heart, knows your inmost thoughts. You cannot hide from God now or ever. If you think you deceive others or God, the truth is you are only deceiving yourself and such people are called fools in the Bible.
Be sober and alert. Truthfully examine your own spiritual state and REPENT NOW before it is too late!
One day you may wish you had one more day to repent but it will be too late and your fate will be torment and gnashing of teeth FOREVER!
Consider God’s word carefully:
Then He [Jesus] left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to Him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.”
He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels.
“As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will weed out of His kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” (Matthew 13:36-43)

“Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with Me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.” (Revelation 22:12-15)
